Betty Winslow, also known as Roberta Warren, is a lifelong resident of Missouri. She is married and has four grown daughters. She spends her free time camping, fishing and traveling. She enjoys garage sale and flea market shopping, which she calls treasure hunting. She is an avid Depression glass collector and is using her knowledge in her present work in progress.
Her first book, THE LADY AND THE LAWMAN an historical set in Texas in 1859 was published by Harper Collins. This work has just been re-released as a trade-sized paperback and in electronic download from Hard Shell Word Factory.
Her second book also published by Hard Shell Word Factory using the name Roberta Warren is a Paranormal Romance and is available in paperback and electronic download. This work is set in present day, in a haunted mansion in South Carolina and was an Eppie finalist in the Epic, Electronically Published Internet Connection, contest in 2000.
She is also a published poet.
Betty was Heartland Romance Authors first treasurer, serving two terms - and their Published Author Contact in 1997, 2002 and is currently serving that position.
